EQA/PT for NGS and Genetics

About the Role

This is a business development position with a strong operational focus on EQA/PT scheme development. The successful candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of clinically relevant EQA schemes aligned with the evolving needs of molecular and genetic diagnostic laboratories.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and expansion of EQA/PT schemes in NGS and genetics

• Design clinically relevant EQA programs supporting high-quality patient diagnostics

• Source and evaluate suitable samples and materials for scheme development

• Identify and engage potential clients and collaborators

• Build and maintain a strong professional network within the NGS and clinical genetics community

• Ensure alignment of EQA schemes with current clinical diagnostic workflows and regulatory expectations

• Contribute to strategic growth initiatives within the NGS and molecular diagnostics portfolio

Qualifications and Experience

• Hands-on experience in developing and implementing EQA/PT schemes for NGS

• Strong expertise in NGS technologies, molecular genetics, and oncology

• Solid understanding of clinical diagnostic workflows and quality requirements

• Established professional network within molecular diagnostics and clinical genetics

• Experience with NGS applications in clinical microbiology is considered an advantage

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to combine scientific expertise and business development
