New EQA concepts
Genomics & Molecular Pathology EQA
Four new Genomics & Molecular Pathology EQA schemes are available for laboratories performing molecular oncology testing and cancer panel analysis. The schemes include clinically relevant sample materials designed for the detection and interpretation of somatic variants in cancer samples. The portfolio includes FFPE-based schemes and will be expanded to cover also cfDNA-based analysis. Educational EQA schemes (EQA4)
The EQA4 service is an advanced EQA solution that integrates learning and competence development directly into the external quality assessment process. Building on the integrated EQA approach, the service combines theoretical training, practical performance, and post-analytical learning into a continuous workflow, transforming each EQA round into a structured learning experience. In addition to samples and performance reports, the service includes targeted educational content enabling participants to understand not only the correctness of their results but also the underlying reasoning and areas for improvement. This approach supports continuous professional development, strengthens individual competence, and enhances the overall quality and consistency of diagnostic work.
