Evaluating Histopathology EQA Scheme Results: Human Expertise Versus AI Algorithms

Labquality conducts a virtual histopathology external quality assessment (EQA) scheme twice a year. In round 2-2023, participants analysed 7 whole specimen scanned slides on prostate cancer. We compared the visual image GG analysis of the scheme participants with two different AI (AI1 and AI2) standalone results.
