New EQA Scheme: Preanalytics, Pneumatic Sample Transport

Labquality has released a new EQA scheme for the Preanalytics of Pneumatic Sample Transport. The scheme provides an easy tool for laboratories to monitor their PTS lines and evaluate the calculated sample rejection probability based on the performance of the PTS and hemolysis index (HI) cutoffs in use and compare results to that of other laboratories.

Labquality’s R&D Manager Heidi Berghäll presented the new scheme as a scientific poster at the 6th EFLM Conference on Preanalytical Phase 2022 and won the best poster award voted by the audience.
