New trainings coming in 2025!

At Health Tech Top Expert, you have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in exactly the direction the industry needs. Labquality's experienced experts and trainers are responsible for the implementation. The training includes an on-the-job learning period (70 days) at a partner company, personal sparring and coaching (8 hours), a development assignment and group training related to special expertise in the field of health technology (8 days). The employer partner is responsible for familiarization with the company's operating culture and on-the-job learning during the internship, as well as participates in the guidance of the jointly agreed development task.

The training has already been organized 15 times: more than 83 % of those who completed the training are currently employed (most of them at their former internship)!

Open job descriptions

The applicant must be unemployed, under threat of unemployment or working part-time. If necessary, contact TE services and find out if the application criteria are met for you. Persons selected for the training are required to have a university degree (university of applied sciences or university) or sufficient other work experience in, for example, the following fields:

Frequently asked questions about the Recruitment Training.

What is a Recruitment Training?

The Recruitment Training program combines knowledge-based teaching at the educational institution and on-the-job learning at the partner company participating in the training. The trainings are implemented in cooperation with employers who need to recruit more employees. The goal is for the participants to get the professional skills needed by the employer and to be employed by the employer in question after completing the training.

Recruitment Trainings are about 3-9 months (for us 4 months) training periods that combine on-the-job learning and education. The goal of the training is to get a job in the partner company.

In which language and how (remote/live) is the training conducted?

The training is organized in English and Finnish. Training days are organized via remote devices. Depending on the place of on-the-job learning, the work can be remote, live or with a hybrid implementation. This information can be found in the search description.

How does the application process proceed?

The application is two-stage, that is, the applicant must fill out an application for both TE services and Labquality. Applicants cannot be accepted without both applications. Pre-interviews are already carried out during the application period, and the rest of the pre-interviews immediately after the application period ends. Invitations to these pre-interviews come from both Labquality and TE services.

After the preliminary interviews, we introduce the applicants to the companies. Companies invite people who are suitable for their tasks to company interviews. Invitations to these interviews therefore come directly from the partner company after the last preliminary interviews at the latest.

Selection information will be sent via Labquality to all applicants no later than the date indicated above. If the application period is extended for some reason, applicants will be notified of this as early as possible.

Will I receive a salary during the training and on-the-job learning?

No salary is paid during RecruitmentTraining, but the students receive the unemployment benefit they would be entitled to if they were unemployed (paid by KELA or the trade union) and a daily expense allowance. You can get more information about the benefits from your TE services contact person.

After RecruitmentTraining, an employment relationship is concluded, in which case the salary is agreed between the employee and the company. The salary should be initially discussed during the interview.

What is required of the applicant to be selected for the program?

Those selected for RecruitmentTraining must be unemployed or under the threat of unemployment. If necessary, check your own situation with TE services.

Labquality's training programs are mainly intended for professionals with a higher education. Of course, more important than education is the motivation to learn and develop. You can see more detailed skill requirements in the application descriptions.

What if I get a job in another job during the training?

Students selected for RecruitmentTraining have the right to apply for a job during the training. If you get a job in the middle of the training, the training will be discontinued.
